March 26, 2023: Filled with the Spirit
If we want to experience the transforming power and blessings of Holy Spirit in our lives, we need to be wise in how we walk. We can open our lives to being filled with the Spirit by engaging in spiritual interactions, singing to God, giving thanks to God, and striving to imitate Jesus.

March 12th, 2023 - What Will You Do with Jesus?
All authority in heaven and on earth belongs to Jesus (Matthew 28:18). King Jesus is Lord of all (Acts 10:36)! The question is, is he Lord of your life? Every person needs to make a decision to accept or reject Jesus, and neutral we cannot be. What will you do with Jesus, my friend?
Speaker: Jay Manimtim, Reading: Matthew 27: 15-22 -
March 5, 2023: Who do You Say I Am?
Who is Jesus? That’s an important question for us to answer. Jesus made a lot of incredible claims about Himself, but He left it up to each individual to either accept or deny those claims. He demonstrated this one day when He asked His followers the question, “Who do you say I am?”. This is a question that has echoed through the ages ever since and this Sunday, we want to ask it again to ourselves. Is it reasonable for us to believe that Jesus is who He claimed to be, or not?
Scripture Reading: Matthew 16:13-17, Speaker: Myles MacMillan -
February 26th, 2023: Knowing God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit
God has revealed himself to us as the one true God and besides him there is no other (Isaiah 45:5). But who is Jesus Christ and who is the Holy Spirit, and why do they do what they do? We will reaffirm God’s trinitarian nature and its importance in our faith and practice today.
Scripture Reading: Galatians 4:4-7, Speaker: Jay Manimtim -
February 19, 2023 - Teach Me Your Ways
When we meet someone, it’s common to introduce ourselves. An introduction is often brief but it contains the essence of who we are so the other person can understand who they’re speaking with. There is an amazing story in Exodus where Moses asks God to “please show me now your ways, that I may know you”. In response, God offers an introduction of sorts to who He is. These words were very powerful to Moses, and they are still very powerful today as we try to understand the nature of our Father in heaven, and how His nature affects our lives today. Scripture Reading: Exodus 34:4-9, Speaker: Myles MacMillan -
February 12, 2023 - We Are Not Alone
Ahaz, king of Judah, was being attacked by neighbouring kings, Pekah of Israel and Rezin of Aram. They wanted to replace him with a king who would help them against the Assyrian Empire. Isaiah told Ahaz not to fear these kings and told him that God would give him a very special sign, a baby! His name, Immanuel, would be a very important reminder, ‘God with us.
Speaker: Wayne Turner, Reading: Isaiah 7:10-16 -
February 5, 2023: Our Relationship With God
In our sermon this Sunday, we will be talking about our relationships with each other, but more importantly our relationship with God. We will talk about the benefits of healthy relationships, hear about some people who had a strong relationship with God, and we will talk about how we can grow and strengthen our relationship with God. Scripture Reading: Acts 17:22-31, Speaker: Glen Knutson -

January 22, 2023 - The Bible Has Authority
The Bible claims to have authority because it contains the words of a Holy God to humanity. Can we be confident in that claim? And what evidence is there to support it? Join us on Sunday as we plan to dig into this discussion together and see why the authority of the Bible is something that we can confidently build our lives on. Scripture Reading: 2 Timothy 3:14-17, Speaker: Myles MacMillan -
January 15, 2023: Why Does the Bible Matter?
Imagine you have a friend who knows nothing about the Bible. From the little they have heard, they see it as a very old book which is irrelevant. They ask you why you think it is important. What could you say to them? Scripture Reading; 2 Peter 1:12-21, Speaker: Wayne Turner -
January 8, 2023: The Bible is True
As we move into our focus on “What We Believe” for 2023, our first topic of discussion is the word of God. The Bible claims that its teachings are true, which is quite a claim! Especially in our postmodern culture today. So, what is truth anyway? And what do we mean when we say that the bible is true? Can we be confident about this claim? Join us on Sunday as we plan to dive into these questions together. Scripture Reading: Psalm 19:7-11, Speaker: Myles MacMillan
